We are looking for an experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join our Leadership Team and be responsible for leading and driving all revenue-generating processes. The CRO will leverage current knowledge and evaluate new strategies to implement a vision for revenue growth to meet our short-term and long-term goals. The CRO will open new paths of revenue, as well as align internal functions like marketing, sales, and customer support to drive a consistent strategy for predictable revenue growth. A successful candidate will be skilled in executive communication, experienced with data-driven decisions, and have strong managerial skills to inspire and execute innovative strategies. Our Company wants a CRO with a passion for growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Create a standardized outreach for current and future clients and coordinate its implementation across sales channels, client management, and marketing and communications.
  • Develop growth strategies with the Executive Team.
  • Prospect and close relationships with key target clients.
  • Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth.
  • Build a cohesive short, medium- and long-term revenue strategy that encompasses marketing; sales; product/service, and customer success teams
  • Monitor the strategies and processes across the revenue cycle from customer acquisition to engagement to success.
  • Recommend and lead improvement processes and initiatives to enhance the customer experience
  • Develop and implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and Key Performance Indicators for the sales lifecycle that generate data-driven decisions.
  • Drive a “lean startup” style environment of constant experimentation and learning.
  • Leverage customer research (quantity and quality) to provide strategic leadership for brand architecture and positioning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  •  3+ years of leadership experience in a CRO-type capacity
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible sales experience
  • Self-Starter – ability to execute and implement change
  •  Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Critical Thinking – strategic and highly analytical
  • Goal Oriented – naturally motivated to reach goals
  •  Interpersonal/Communication Skills – an innate ability to channel different points of view; Able to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly; Create team atmosphere with internal staff while achieving key objectives; Excellent consulting skills as well as technical writing and public speaking
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize. Uses critical project path to ensure all planning is on time and proactively notifies stakeholders where there could be a risk.
  • Connection to the Veteran community or knowledge of VA practices is a plus
